1.14.12
Nick and Nicklaus were on their first trip for steelhead, I don't think their friend George prepared for what they were about experience. When we met at 8am it was 12 * when we quit at 1:30 it was 9*. Father fished hard the whole time. Junior was a little more interested in the heater LOL Senior did manage to get a "wallhhanger" he is going to have a replica made of this 12 pounder!
1.11.12
My good friend Mike finally made it out steeheading after years of planning. I think its safe to say he's addicted. We didn't even get off the river and he was talking about coming back up in a week or two! If you haven't tried steelheading you really have to give it a try.
1.9.12
Day two for Eric and Josh didn't go quite as smooth after landing a dozen and losing 3 yesterday. Today we landed 3 and lost almost 10 in 3 hrs before the boys had enough LOL Long night after the Giants win!

Charlie wanted to get his son Dave excited about fishing. SO he booked a day of steelhead fishing. Unfortunately the metalheads of the SR didn't want to play. So we made a trip to the Harbor Sunday for a quick trip, I'd like to think we got the job done!

12.5.11
David has been dying to get out steelhead fishing, the only problem was I didn't have any openings! So he took the first day I had, it turned out to be a nice warm morning but the rain never let up. Good thing the fish kept us busy enough we didn't notice.
12.4.11
Jerry and Andy decided in October that they wanted to do a steelhead trip. So up they came, to some cold weather Sat. morning. It was 24 degrees and the early bite was tough but we manged some nice fish even with a lot of traffic on the river. Sunday was warm and the steelhead were biting!
12.2.11
What a way to start the morning, hooking double digits in the first stop! The only problem was hanging onto them again today, a lot of light biters and crazy fish! Jeff and Tim did a good job these fish were HOT!!!
12.1.11
Tom wanted to bring his son out on his first steelhead trip. After a late start we able to hook in to a few but the bite was light and we had a very hard time landing them. We did manage half a dozen 15-18 inchers.
11.30.11
Day 3 back to the SR and 1000cfs :) They weren't settled in yet but we still managed double digits. Check out the fresh coho we got, she hit a plug as we were reeling it in!

The water dropped over night so we headed up river. We had big numbers! Plus Wayne made a big come back after Phil took a big lead.
11.19.11
When we got to the river to day we found it had come up big. So we decided to stay in the Harbor after the way we ended yesterdays trip instead of heading to the SR, good move!
11.18.11
Vinny is back this time he had John with him. Floats were dropping all day! Tons of browns all day with a push of steelhead late.
