What a way to start the day, first fish was a 13lb brown . Then I had to net them 3 at a time! The afternoon started out with 3 big king, but we only landed one 25lb then we ended catching browns.

The last few weeks the Brown trout has been out of control. With many trophy's taken.

Another week of pre-fishing, this time for the Wayne Co. Pro-Am. We covered a lot of water again this week, I hope it all is worth it. One day we even ran over 70 miles round trip to find fish!

The first week of July found us fishing all over looking for that magical spot for the up coming Pro-Am. Thou we didn't find it we did find some nice Chrome!

May bought the beginning of our lake season. The brown trout fishing started off fantastic with many large Bt's taken. We even caught some Kings!

My last river trip of the Spring. I've never seen the SR so deserted this time of year. It was kind of lonely. Here are some of our targets for the next 3-4 years.

It was another long week on the river with conditions not improving. We worked hard everyday to get our bites and in the end we had a great time! Water is still at 285cfs

Its been a busy week on the Salmon R. the fishing has been up and down. The week started off very good, but this low water is starting to make the fishing challenging :-(

Mark and Dan joined me today for their first spring steelhead trip. They were not disappointed! Water level is @285cfs and the forecast doesn't look good :-(

John and Steve were spoiled today! After fishing with a different guide last year and getting skunked they've already re booked for next year. The bite was on beads, beads, and did I say beads??? Check out the new video, we hit 5 before he plugged thru!

Brad and his father Don came for their first spring trip with me and they weren't disappointed. The fish were active and the weather was HOT!!! In fact it was 87 degrees at 4pm. It is April 2nd isn't it??? Water level is at 500cfs lets hope for some rain.

For the last two days Tom B. and myself transport a photo crew for Esquire Magazine down the Salmon R. They conducted a shot for fall mens clothing in the rustic look. It was a fun time and we even caught a few fish in between shoots!

Very windy this morning we made the best of it and put Bad Luck Buzz into some fish. After we dropped him off so he could go to work we re-launched down the lake a bit and caught some more.

It was 14 degrees out when we left for the ramp. So, the early bite was tough, when found them it was incredible! Doubles, triples, even a quadruple! The browns looked fat and healthy, a great sign the wintered well.

Kenny and Adam invited me to fish with them today to share some of my experience in brown trout trolling. We had a great morning, I even showed them I know how to catch northerns too. I experimented with Z Boards, they are new side planer. After today I am sure that if you run inline boards you won't be disappointed!

Day two for the bagel boys from NJ! The day started off with great promise, only to be slowed down by the bright sun. So, we switched gears and started trolling. We made two passes hit 3 and the guys wanted to hit the road.

Arthur and Arthur joined me for their first experience on the Lake Ontario fishery and they weren't disappointed. Many browns and a few rainbows.

Gerald and Ricky joined me for a cold morning just trying to get Gerald a few fish before he heads back south. The wind was horrible but the job was completed.

What a month that wasn't! With low water and bad weather we took it on the chin this month. We did have some good days, no great days forgot the camera a few times, just glad to see spring is just around the corner!

Decided to take a road trip and fish some of the rivers in the western part of the state. Good friend Rick H. joined me for a gorgeous day at the Genny!

Been doing some ice fishing the last couple of weeks with the tough Trout fishing. I even my old pal Tom Allen out on the ice after 10 years of being away! I'll have to start bringing the camera more.

Today was one of those day it was nice to repay someone who helped you and others! Chris was nice enough to sell me his boat since, he has reenlisted to server and protect or nation. So, when he said he wanted to get his dad on the Oswego I was happy oblige. We only lasted a short time due to the high winds but, we'll be back next week!

Casey and Brandon are up for the annual Fat Nancy's Christmas party and a little steelhead fishing. Conditions were tough but we managed to pull out a few, then we got a case of the drops :-(

Kenny and Cody joined me for two days this December after winning an Ice fishing derby last winter. The took the winnings and used it as a deposit! We fished the Salmon R. for two days hooking plenty of fish we just had some major trouble getting them to the boat. They'll do better next year! Cody did land a very large one though, 15 1/2lbs!
