November 29, 2005
Chris and Erik are back for another windy day on the Oswego. Last year we cut it short due to the weather and this year it was twice as bad. With the high winds we opted not to fish floats and just run plugs. But, with 65mph wind gusts recorded it was a little difficult. We land three in the first hour and it looked like it was going to be a good day. But then they stopped biting.

Today we took a trip to the Genny Dominick, Ryan, Jason, Chad, Garrett, and Darryl. Yes six guys and me, the whole group wanted to fish another day and I was the only one that could take them. We made the hike down into the gorge and it was worth it. It wasn't the blood bath we hoped for but we still managed to land many.

Dominick and his brother Ryan joined me this weekend from Maine. After eating the dozen lobsters they brought it was time to keep up my end and put them on some fish. Sat. was Dom's day and Sun. it was Ryan's turn. Sunday the big fish were biting. Most fish were caught on floats with a few on plugs. Water flow from 11,000 to 13,300 over the weekend. Tomorrow Road Trip!!!

Frank and John joined me for their annual day after Thanksgiving trip. We were going to fish the middle of the Salmon only to find that the water level dropped like a rock. So we decided to launch in Altmar, being a holiday weekend I was scared to see how many people would be there. To my surprise we were the first to launch, in the blizzard. We fished any spot we wanted, hitting four and boating three. They just weren't biting today. But he Snow was!!!

November 21 & 22, 2005
Joe and Jeff joined me for two days that were about as different as they could be. Mon. was as nice a weather as late Nov. has to offer. Then Tues. it rained and snowed. The fishing was good over the two days and we had a lot of fun.

November 16 & 17, 2005
Well a two-day road trip with Carmine, Joe, Kevin And John. Kevin of Catch the drift and myself made the 280 mile round trip for the guys and it paid off. Many, many fish were brought to net over the two days. Here are some of the nicer pics taken, just so many to choose from. We were even treated to one of the nicest rainbows I've seen in a while on the drive home.

Brad and his father Jack joined me today, Jack flew in from Florida, is he in for a shock when he feels a northern New York morning. Well the fish didn't bite like yesterday and we could only fish a half-day. But we had fun anyway.

November 12, 2005
Tack and Robby joined me today for a break between Grouse hunting. We fished both plugs and floats in the high water and both produced fish.

November 8 & 9, 2005
Debbie and Mark joined me for two days of fishing the first day we fished floats on the Oswego and then we went creek hoping. We caught steelhead and rainbows on the Big O and Kings and Browns in the creeks. The rain really came down today, looks like the rivers will be coming up, the new boat will be paying dividends.
